Not exactly a resounding endorsement, but this was the reply from Best Buy
when I inquired about the rumor that they would be dropping MD:

concern. I have not been able to confirm that Best Buy will be dropping the
MD line of products. As far as I have been notified, Best Buy will still be
selling MD products.
