Not really, it will still discourage you from copying. Yes, maybe
titles are not copyrightable, but the chances are if you want to copy
track titles in that order then your copying music ;). Either that or
it's just a bug on the Sharp EEPROM. 

Think about it, would the music industry prefer you to copy it, or to
buy another copy? You know the music/audio industry they're all
devious (no disrespect to any md-l members ;) ;).

I'm not sure on the MDS-W1, but professional equipment will usually
allow you to bypass things ;)
