Hey Ray,

Surfing voquette.com, I found that by using the VMM software you can:
1. Prepare a recording list from the web by just D&D of hyperlinks (this part I
experienced and it's fun and easy to use)
2. Schedule the time for the PC to automatically connect to the Internet, automatic
content download (of various formats: MP3, RA, MWA, etc.) - I tested this part as well
and it functions well.
3. Automatic recording onto various portable audio devices such as MD, Tape Recorders,
solid sate devices and CD-RW.

.. Well I tested the MD it I am happy with the results. However, I have not tried the
tape recorder option yet - I wonder what's the quality there.
I was a little bit disappointed to read that they currently support the Philip MONO
tape only. (I sent them email to see what other options they have). So I believe that
currently the tape is not a great solution for recording MP3 music - although it could
be a good idea to have MP3 (in audio formats) on a tape, if it was stereo recording -
so I could leave them in my car.

I consider of trying the tape solution for my daily news streaming audio recordings -
I very much like it on my MD, however for my car rides, I would like to test the tape
version (has any one that you know tested it ?).
For streaming audio the Mono recording should be good enough.

Re Zip drive: interesting, do you consider using the VMM to record MP3 onto your zip,
if so pls tell me the results

Cheers,

Richard
