I am using the following setup with great results:
Gateway Pentium 200mmx with 32 mb RAM
Creative Labs 4224 CD-RW internal drive
Soundblaster Live MP3 soundcard (has digital in and out but I
am using analog)
Adaptec Easy CD Creator version 4.0 software
You can get the drive and soundcard and a nice 5 speaker
sound system bundled for about $299.00. I got mine from
CompUSA. I use this setup to burn CD's from my MD's of
concert recordings and have had zero problems.
