The lever goes all the way down and the slot opens and looks like its
about to eject, but doesn't.

How would I go about fixing this?  I just went to one of the repair places
around the corner from work and he wanted $40 for an inspection fee, and
then said that the audio guys where off for 3 weeks holiday...

The unit still plays fine and whilst I really love the disc thats in
there, I need to copy some tunes from another disc....
