Pascal was the foundation for a language called Delphi, which is a Rapid
Application Development system, still considered to be one of the most
powerful for developing database orientated applications. C is better suited
to maths and number crunching.
However, this is a bit OT - unless you plan to put C or Pascal or Delphi
into a MD.
