Try The Sony Centre or anywhere selling Sony stuff. You can use virtually
and cassette adapter with your MD (the ones that are designed for portable
CD players are ideal) but you will need to check that any power supply
system (plugging into cigarette lighter) is the correct type. I would be
better to get the proper Sony adapter designed for use with their MDs for
this.

Well the simplest method is to attach the supplied AA battery pack. You can
also swap batteries whilst the unit is running without it stopping and
without risk of damage.
