Hello,
I have an Sblive card with the Hoontech optical daughter card (i don't
remember codes i think is sblive III or something). I also have an MZ-R50
and a MINI hi-fi component system (Sony EX880MD or DHC-EX880MD) which has a
3 MD Changer. I connect the MZ-R50 with the optical out of the
sblive/hoontech and then after pressing the record button the mz-r50 waits
till signal is received. When signal is received it starts recording and
when the signal stops the unit stops. From my md experience this is the
correct way of digitaly recording with mds... Now when i connect the
sblive/hoontech optical out with the optical in in the deck (mentioned
above) i press the rec button and the unit is waiting in pause mode... when
the signal starts the unit remains in pause mode. If i push the play button
it starts recording normally but keeps going on and on even if the signal
stops. I want to ask if there is something wrong or if syncro rec is not
supported by my md hi-fi component (the unit has 2 optical in for external
devices and 1 optical in for the cd player the hi-fi has).
One other thing i want to ask if i do a digital recording of an mp3 through
the sblive/hoontech optical out to the MZ-R50, how could i get the best
recording level. I mean to record the mp3 as much loud and clear as i can.
Is this done automatically or something by the unit? Do i have to play with
the mixer control the pc has or something ?
Is there any software specially written for recording music from the pc to
minidisc ? I mean a program understanding and using the optical out on the
sblive/hoontech thing...
Thanx in advance,
Magic
