Maybe I'm a bit (16bits?) behind the times or maybe I just like MD so much
that, up until today I have never heard an MP3 file.
Well, today I heard quite a few of them played on a reasonable stereo
system and quite honestly, I thought the sound was very good.
Maybe not quite as good as MD but very listenable and with 170 odd of them
on one CD - that's a juke box full....
MD still has a few tricks left - editing and cost per storage MB is still
lower than flash memory but not CD-R, which doesn't have the same
portability.
Shawn is right IMHO, Sony better come up fast with some faster than real
time copying solutions.....
