<<Just out of interest, why CD-R? Around here, blank MDs cost less than
consumer CDR, so it's cheaper to archive music on that.>>

I have a CD player in my car, where I listen to music the most. I used to
have a miniplug jack in the front of my old car stereo, and I would just
bring a portable MD and plug it in. But it was stolen last year and I ended
up buying a stereo that was quick and easy. Also, I make a lot of mixes and
if I want to bring one over to a friend's house, nobody I knows has a
minidisc player (and of course they have been critical of me buying one since
they haven't noticeably caught on around here). Although I love MD's editing
capabilities, CD is still the most popular format today.
