Separate mikes can have more separation. I designed mine so the separation is about
the same distance as your ears, so it will sound correct through headphones.
If you move any mike, you can hear it if you have the sensitivity turned up on the
recorder. It is less noticable in louder situations.
If you have two separate mikes for a binaural effect, the distance between them isn't
constant and the stereo image will change if you aren't careful.
