I think the Denon MDR2300 will relay play "forever" between
the two units. Never tried it though. At well over $1000 US for
the dual unit - well its not a cheap option.
Most "pro" MD players (such as the 1U Sony MDS-E11 or the
Tascam MD301) will have "pin out" signals that you could use
to trigger the MD to play. These units are designed to
be "chained" together or to trigger from "events".
These units typicall are $600 US or more.
The Sony "car" 6 disk MD player MDX-65 will relay play across all 6 disks.
need a Sony Head unit or Unilink controller though.
