speaking of this, is there any easy cheap way to get radio talk shows on
satellite without owning a radio station? The closest AM stations that have
talk on don't come in where I live, about 30 miles from them, but they cut
the power after sundown anyway. I've tried using realaudio and media
player, but that sounds worst over a 28.8 connection than analog voice
calls, all the break up and the like makes it difficult to record because
once it pauses once, it usually won't come back in unless you restart the
stream. I have a c-band TV satellite receiver, but it's probably about 10
years old, it can descramble TV channels, but what good that does when my
talk shows I like aren't on TV anyway? I would like it a lot if such a
system could stop recording of the program during commercials seeing md
only holds 74 minutes, and home decks don't have changers, but more
importantly to schedule recordings of certain channels at certain times,
especially if I could control it easily with commands on my computer, but
these features aren't absolutely necessarily needed if there was something
that recorded longer, and was easy to edit like md.
