Im new to the list and need help as soom as possible.
The scenario is this:
Im about to buy a MZ-R55 from a fella selling 2nd hand.
I dont know too much about MD to figure out whether the deal is dodgy or
not.
Firstly- The battery with it says its a NH-9WM...now all the documentation
Ive read says the R55 is supposed to have NH-14WM! Are the batteries
interchangable? Can I use the 9 (there doesnt seem to be a PROBLEM). Does
anyone know about the battery specs for the 9 when used in R55 (eg.
record/play times)
Secondly - The recharger hes giving me is not a proper Sony? one but a
generic Tandy adaptor. Can I use this to recharge the battery?? Will it kill
the machine?? Is there anything to look at on the recharger (eg. it says
500mA).
Lastly - Can Ni-MH batteries be recharged on the fly or do they have to be
run all the way down.
I would greatly appreciate a bit of help in answering any of these
questions.
I need to make a decision soon!
