There is only one reason that I use mpeg layer 3. Because I can't find the
CD I'm looking for at a store. Just about all of my CD's are imports or
indies. I have some indie CD's from club gigs where they will sometimes
distribute their CD. I have one CD packaged that was weird it was
xerographed on a brown paper bag and the CD was inside.

It seems that different countries distribute music differently, a lot of
them will only release a CD one time, once they are gone that's it. So if
you don't buy them and a lot of stores are sold out there isn't any more. I
try to look at used music stores and was able to find them sometimes, but
only if I'm lucky. If I don't find them I try searching for them on the web
stores, then my last action is to look for mp3. But I always try to for them
at as many used store as possible.
