I'm not sure on the exact definition of "UTOC", but it basically means the
unit was unable to understand part of the "Table Of Contents" on the disc.
It sounds like you've encountered one of the rare errors that sometimes
happen with Minidisc. When you record on a disc in one unit, then play it
back in another, you can end up with a situation where you get the disc
written in such a way that it can't be read by the new unit. It's usually
caused by slight mis-alignments of the record or playback head, which may
just be enough on that one particular disc to result in it being "misread"
and information not being able to be understood. I believe the Sharp units
have a facility to erase all the titles on a disc without erasing the
tracks, so I suggest you try this if you have that facility. If not, try
splitting the track then re-combining it, as this can sometimes correct a
problem.
