As an Ebay Powerseller, I can tell you that MD on Ebay is a very strange
place. I don't think anyone has to fear MDs extinction in the next few
years.
There are a lot of Sharp MD-MS702 refurbs that you should be weary of
purchasing.
There are a lot of legitmate people out there selling new units as well.
I'm always hesitant to purchase from someone in Hong Kong or Japan with
little or no feedback, at least when it comes to purchasing electronics.
Even if it is a 5 Pack of discs, you should be sure the person has good
feedback.
Always send things insured or request they are shipped insured, that is a
safe bet. US Postal Money orders are the best way to send and receive
payment outside of Pay Pal.

Personally, I'm always leary to purchase Maxell and Memorex discs. The only
disc I would buy that starts with an M is Minidisco's. They are great, and
yes, I'm an affiliate of theirs.
