Greetings All, I have a Sharp MD-MS702 that I bought a couple of years ago for the purpose of recording environmental sounds and incorporating them into my music. I only used it a couple of times and noticed it was starting to have problems. It wouldn't record or play correctly and UTOC error would appear in the window. I became ill shortly after I bought it and so haven't used it since. I'm feeling better now and I want to finally start on this project, so I pulled out the unit and fired it up....then I was reminded that it wasn't working! Still skips, still the UTOC error. OK, so I do some research and find out that this is a common problem with the MD-MS702, which leads me to my question....can anything be done about this problem? Obviously I'm beyond the warranty period. Am I screwed?
