I received a Sony MZ-R70 yesterday and I like everything about it except the
max volume level...I had previously been using an MZ-R35, and the max volume
level on the R70 is much lower. In informal testing, it seems like the max
output of the R70 is about 75% that of the R35 (i.e. the R70 with the volume
all the way up is about as loud as the R35 with the volume 3/4 of the way
up). It's obviously even quieter with AVLS on.

Is this normal, or is something wrong with my unit? I've seen some
complaints about volume on Sonys, but I figured that since I was happy with
the R35 that the R70 would be similar...

Otherwise I love it, so I'm kinda bummed that it has this blemish.
