I just obtained a new car -- finally! -- that came with a CD player. I
almost opted for a cassette player so that I could use my cassette
adapter to play MDs with my R37, but I opted for a way to listen to those
hundreds of dormant CDs.

My question is this: I have heard of those doohickeys where you turn
your radio to a dead station (e.g. 88.x) and connect it to your MD
player. Do these work well? If so, all the time or just in certain
conditions (e.g. a sunny day, or in the country)? Does anybody know how
much they run for? Any related experiences would prove very helpful.
Thank you.
