I have noticed that the high-speed MP3 encoders produce results that are
inferior to the slower MP3 encoders. This may also be true of ATRAC - I
don't know I'm just trying to consider a possible reason. A "high-speed"
encoder isn't always as accurate - this may be  relevant to the MXD-D3 or it
may not.
