I find the Sharp 831 plays brilliantly but records badly ... but then again
my only experience of MD recorders is my Sharp 831 ....
But I've played back discs recorded on standalone MD decks and they sound
FAR superior to anything I've recorded (by whatever means) on my 831 . :(
