again, an avid fan of the MzR-90/91...if u need recording capabilities,
battery life is fantastic, it is small even though that wasnt a requirement
and inside the nice menu system there is a feature that turns the headphone
jack into a true audio out...just a suggestion hope this helps.
My opinion regarding the cost of repair (80$) when you can get a new mz50 for
probably not much more than twice that, and a new 90 for around 310.... just
doesnt seem worth it, 70s are also inexpensive, I'd probably try to stick
with sony though
sidenote; Not sure if the 70 has a feature to turn headphone into audio out
