Problem #1-=20
My Sony R70 doesn't set track marks correctly, as I already mentioned in =
a previous email. When I'm recording a CD from the optical link, it =
seems to set the track marks completely randomly. Like it sets a track =
mark in the middle of a song when there is no silence at all. And it =
usually only sets between 2 and 6 track marks on a CD with 14 or so =
tracks. The manual says that the recorder automatically sets the same =
track marks at the same points as the CD tracks.=20

Problem #2-
As I already said in a previous email, I had some problems the first =
time I tried to record (it gave a Disc error and started skipping)... I =
assumed the disc was bad and used a new one. I've recorded 7 HiSpace =
MDs now and noticed a problem when I was playing back the one I just =
finished recording. I was going through the MD, setting the track marks =
but when I got to the last two tracks of the album, the songs started =
skipping. Basically, the music dies and the MD makes noise while it =
tries to start playing again, sometimes takes 5 seconds or so. And on =
the last track, which was skipping worse than the second to last track, =
I noticed that the counter/timer on the display was going wacko. The =
track time was switching from 01:45 (around) to 00:46 (around). No =
sound played while it was in the 40s and when the sound came back, the =
display switched back to the 1:40s. =20
Is it just another bad MD or something else?=20

Please answer if you can think of anything for either problem. Thanks
