No, most of the other major manufacturers also make MD changers, but they
are really expensive and really rare. So effectively, yes, Sony is the only
company that makes MD changers... which limits my head unit choices to Sony,
which is unfortunate.
Does anyone know if:
1) Sony changers (MD/CD) uni-link can be adapter-converted to work with
other manufacturer HU for cheap ?
2) Anyone makes a CD changer that buffers the signal so disc changes take
very little time as opposed to the 4-5second disc swaps common in CD
changers nowadays ?
