My SONY MZR-50 which just under 2 years old has developed a strange fault. Playback is fine; however when making recording about 50 seconds in the TOC EDIT kicks in, it flashes and no amount of effort stops it from flashing, I am forced to remove the battery and power down to allow removal of the disk. When the disk is re-inserted it says it is blank. Does anyone have any ideas what the problem is? and if so will it be expensive to repair.
