More likely the latter. Around here two drugstore chains carry Sony MDs at
ridiculous prices: Osco has 2-packs for $14.99 and Walgreens (I'm old enough
to remember when it was Walgreen's before apostrophes became uncool) has
single discs for $7.99. Even Target carries 2-packs for $7.99.
One Osco near me is in the same plaza as a Target and a Best Buy. Of course
their MDs don't sell at all. Maybe if someone ran in desperate for blanks
at 3 AM, when Target and Best Buy are both closed ...
