I have one of these and I can "over-ride" the strongest signal in town if I
that's the frequency I set it at. But the thing does drift way too much.
I'd think they could lock in one frequency that didn't drift and it wouldn't
matter whether or not it was a clear channel. And, by getting rid of the
tuning wheel and range switches, they could put a couple of binary switches
and give you 4 or so "locked" frequencies to pick from. Or maybe one
frequency and a switch to go a step above or below. That would be much
better than what it is now.
