I will try to check my MDS-PC2 for the 1-sample-out-of-phase error, providing I can figure out how to get Cool Edit to generate waveforms one sample out-of-phase. (I'll have to use a frequncy, say 15 KHz, sufficiently below the filter cutoff to be unaffected and rotate the two channels to some phase difference of less than 180 degrees that produces exactly 1 sample delay.) I will check using an optical connection from the computer. Doing this in the analog domain might pose some interesting problems.
