I had a Sharp 702 and a Sony R30. Bothe came with rechargable LiIon
battires. I got the Sharp because it was smaller than the R30 and
cheaper.
I got shet of it becuase it was thicker than the Sony R-30, didn't have
the time stamp feature I wanted, didn't have automatic record level
control I wanted, and the LiIon battery didn't last as long as the
R-30. I did not see any advantages of the 702 over the R30. A friend
got the Shaarp 702 after havingit for a coupple weeks, she saw my R-30
she took her 702 back and got the R-30 instead. She was much happier
with it.

It is a pain in the but, but I'd take my Sony over the Sharp any day.
