Quite.

And perhaps more importantly the precedents behind which they get money. But
in fairness, whoever owns the copyright, owns the copyright. Desire for the
material doesn't necessarily make any difference. Surely they have this
right, and shouldn't they?

Perfectly understandable.

Perhaps not that which most would be sympathetic with - but at the end of
the day, they are entitled to charge what they like, for what they sell, and
with the principle of copyright - they own it. Simply the desire for others
to have it, doesn't have any bearing on whether they should be able to have
it, or a reasonable price for which they should be able to obtain it.
