This is frustrating to me, too. Here in the U.S., there are very few MD
boomboxes available (maybe three of four models, all AC-powered, and
extremely difficult to find). I'm not aware of any battery-powered boomboxes
for sale in the U.S., which is just mind-boggling. Why don't the
manufacturers meet this need?
