Try moving it to a different location. see if that helps. FM can be a
little quirky. What I don't understand is they didn't even put a mike
input on it. The silly MD people just don't seem to get the picture
that musicians, and there are a lot of them, from beginners to pros,
want to record with a mike.

Hi Jim,
I bought one of these from Mercata a couple of weeks
ago and like it a lot. But it does not have a mike
input. It automatically copies CD's and cassettes to
MD. Even puts in separate tracks at the pauses.
