please choose minidisc for several simple reasons.  i do not know of an mp3
recorder yet.  next if you want to record more than 30 minutes of music at a
time, you will go broke trying to buy media for your mp3 recorder thing.
next ATRAC compression is proven for live recording, that and DAT's are
about all you see anymore.  MP3 compression pretty much sucks compares to
atrac.  please choose minidisc, not because i'm a fan, but it will
definately be the best for what you wanna do.
