I've seen a mini system (with integrated minidisc) advertised on
intersaver.co.uk which I'm thinking of buying. However, I can't find
any information on it anywhere on the internet (its not on
minidisc.org and I can't find it thru Google). The model is the
SANYO SYS-X5CTM. The intersaver blurb reports that it is identical to
the SYS-X5CM, except that it comes with a cassette deck. Personally,
I would rather have the latter, as I don't really need a cassette
deck, and I assume, minus the cassette deck it is somewhat cheaper.
Anyway, Intersaver gives a price of �363.
Can anyone tell me anything about either of these products? Sound
quality, build quality etc etc. Obviously I would like more details
b4 shelling out that much money. Aesthetically, I would also like to
know whether the casing is actually metal, or simply plastic with
metallic paint (which I think is rather tacky).
