Crutchfield offers detailed diagrams for a do-it-yourself installation. You
give them the year and model of your car, and they will give you custom
instructions on how to install it. I recently bought a Kenwood KMD-X92,
which is in my opinion the best MD car unit currently out. I like the
Alpine unit as well but it isn't a detachable face - which leaves it VERY
open for theft.
