Yes ... or simply not use the remote when the Airhead is in use.  I carry my R50
and Total Airhead all the time without using the remote.  Of course with the R50
I have two physically separate outputs (headphone and line out) but I simply
don't hassle with the remote when portable.  I don't need it when using it from
a desk or other stationary surface.

So, as I see it the practial solutions are ...

1.  don't use the remote when the Airhead is in use or
2.  return the E900 for an R900 (or whatever LPMD unit has a physically separate
line out)
