Hi I am thinking about getting a USB -> optical to use with my PowerBook G3 (Pismo/Firewire) and was hoping you could help me: my budget is £100 Aprrox $150, what is the best unit that is Mac OS 9.1 (and 9.0.4 with OS X) compatible, also will track marks be automatically inserted (this would be my main reason for buying, as I am editing and creating mixes (yes some of it is Drum and Bass, although a lot of clasical and Jazz to - each to his own tastes :). I would hope to use it with a Panasonic SJ-MR200, and or a Sony MZ-R900, I have seen the ?Xertel? USB adaptor, although I hoped that a readily avalible UK solution might be an option, but most importantly, does it insert track marks? as this is what is driving me away from my analog setup, as a gap, even with synro record (yes there is a small one) annoys me soo much that I could scream, but I don't have enough time to insert them manualy afterwards, also is there any mac titling software (I have considered getting a plam pilot just for this with a md deck but this is just overkill). thanks Peter. ----------------------------------------------------------------- To stop getting this list send a message containing just the word "unsubscribe" to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
