Jim Said:: > hmmmm.....does this mean there weren't any problems or you would have > written more? mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] "Luckabaugh, Steve" hey jim what's up. i don't know why but outlook is freaking out or the md-l is i don't know. i'm sending as plain text and that MIME thing comes up. i sent it twice and it freaked out twice. here was my question, perhaps you could post it for me? steve. hello all. this is really strange. my R50 was working fine until about a week ago when out of the blue, i'm getting no sound IN or OUT of the unit. i pop a disc in, hit play and the display looks fine. it LOOKS like it's playing the MD perfectly but NO sound comes out through the headphones and no sound out through the line out. i put a blank in and hit record, looks like it's recording fine but NO SOUND from the LINE in either. neither of the 3 things work, headphones, line in, line out. and they all 3 went out at the same time. i've discharged the battery and re-charged it, thinking it was a power problem, no change. took the battery out, put it back in, no change. called the folks at sony service 1-800 # and they are totally clueless. i like my R50 and really don't want to pay $100 to have it repaired, anybody have any ideas? thanks in advance. steve. ----------------------------------------------------------------- To stop getting this list send a message containing just the word "unsubscribe" to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
