Sounds interesting. But the MD format does provides a good balance between home audio 
and portable systems. I can play the same disc which I carry on the road in a home 
system with comparable results as playing the original CD. Provided that the MD is 
recorded from a decent source, a CD of course, instead of the MP3s.

I guess the results of dataplay will depends on the format it carry. But honestly i 
think it pose a greater thread to expensive memory cards instead of the real cheap 
blank MD disc.
