You're adding an electrical signal to the output because your body conducts
electricity. I would try and explain it in more detail, but I would probably
get it wrong and get yelled at by the list engineers.  :-)  I'll put it this
way though, it's related to the reason why some plugs are polarized (one
prong is wider than the other) and some have 3 prongs; electrical grounding.
