My daughter changed her own radiator and serpentine belt as the
neighbors looked on with amazement.  A few months later, her boyfriend
ran into something.  She drove the car and when it started to overheat
in a residential area 10 miles from home, she noticed the accident had
driven the fan shroud into the fan keeping it from turning.  She asked a
guy that was mowing his lawn if she could borrow some tools, and
proceeded to take the fan shroud off so she could drive the car home.  

I'm still having trouble turing her on to MD though.  She has a CD
player in her car instead, and a new boyfriend.
