Sony made a combined portable MD w/ AM/FM radio about 4-5 years ago -
MZ-FM40 - it's in the equipment browser @ www.minidisc.org. However it's a
Player, NOT a Recorder, and well and truly pre-MD Long Play.
Other than that, and the new 750, I'm not aware of any MD portables with
tuners at all of any brands - at least in the consumer grade. I'm pretty
sure you'd be looking at professional machines, and I'm not even sure a
recorder/tuner combination is available there.

Im looking for a personal (walkman) or portable (jamican handbag) style
minidisc system with a built in radio (digital tuning preferable) that can
