I'm using the RM-MZE33 remote that came with the MZ-E33 as part of the
bundle I bought to bring me into the world of MD [the components have
multiplied like rabbits since then!]. Works perfectly so far - no adverse
effects and all the remote and discplay functions work, though you lose the
ability to mark and title tracks.

Btw, I would still like to know if anyone is using a non-MZR700
remote with the 700 model... since it seems to work fine with the
much more useful 900 remote, but the manual recommends against it.
