MD: MD random silent tracks

Hi, I'm trying to record via digital toslink to my MZR-700, from a Hoontech
attachment to my Soundblaster Live! And it seems to put a blank trackmark
after every song...lasts a second, maybe even shorter. Anyone know how to
fix this?
