As I said before, I think the whole titling argument is a red herring.

As for the whole "entering track marks manually" thing, I just don't get
that. I record lots of stuff and I have *never* had to enter track marks
manually. I record MP3s from my computer, and older tapes from a cassette
player (to archive some old stuff not worth buying the CD), and everything
gets track marks automatically. My recorders automatically enter a track
mark when there is 2 seconds or more of silence. Obviously, this is a
problem with the hardware, not with MD itself.

So we're back where we started, which is that IMO the only real benefit MP3
has over MD is transfer speed. I think that if MD could store and transfer
files like MP3 it would blow MP3 away. We can always hope ;)
