Sennheisers have strong upper-treble response.  It would be interesting to
insert an EQ after the A/B switch and listen to just the upper treble range of
the frequency spectrum in isolation, while A/B'ing compressed vs. uncompressed
sources.  Have many people tried this non-flat analysis?  We may be able to
generalize that if you boost the upper treble during playback, this magnifies
the lossy-compression artifacts.
