There seems to be too much attention placed on the limitations of MD's
titling capabilities, but, as in the MD vs MP3 debate we had recently, only
that and the transfer came up as flaws with the system. Titling, to me, is
more of a novelty than as a compulsory part of recording. Now, this is only
my opinion, and I do agree that a format should have the ability to title
every track you put on it, but remember, this is a format that has been
going for around 10 years now, and you are bound to find limitations in the
format after some time. I, myself, am surprised, as well as happy, thats it
took this long for the limitations to be raised in a significant way. Maybe
the best idea, though, is not to complain to the MiniDisc list, but actually
to Sony or whichever companies form of ATRAC is in use (Sharp, Kenwood [i
think its them that have a different system anyway]), as problems are not
sorted by continual complaining in a list, but actually by raising the
issues to the originator of the problem.
