hi folks,
i've been reading the list archives for quite some time. i have only
recently stepped into the world of MD with the purchase of a MZ-R700DPC
portable unit (that's arriving tomorrow mind you!)
i have run the gamut of portable music devices, and i suppose i saved the
best for last -- MD. after holding off for so long, i finally decided to
give it a go, thanks to the decline in price. the advantages of MD are
certainly there and they match my needs with near perfection. i've since
ditched my previous solutions for a be-all end-all portable music device and
i'm anxiously awaiting my R700.
i live in the US and i've noticed that places like circuit city are actually
showcasing their MD players along with the mp3 players and cd-mp3 players.
anyway, i just wanted to introduce myself. i guess i'll round this out with
a query of some sort. are there any R700 owners on the list? what are your
opinions on this model?
