Kasus MDaemon bikin ulah (mail looping)di milis seperti
di PAU-MIKRO (di bawah) kayaknya karena setting DomainPOP
di MDaemon LP3IPG.NET mengaktifkan switch:
"Deliver Non-Local Mail To All Remote Recipient"
Mungkin alurnya begini :
- Dari pau-mikro email di-deliver ke [EMAIL PROTECTED]
(user DomainPOP), hingga sampai ke
common mailbox [EMAIL PROTECTED] Proses
ini via SMTP dengan informasi routing berdasarkan envelope.
- Email dikirim ke domain LP3IPG.NET via POP protokol dan
diparsing ke user yang sesuai berdasarkan message
header TO: karena POP tidak menggunakan amplop
header.
- Karena TO: header berisi alamat [EMAIL PROTECTED]
(bukan [EMAIL PROTECTED]) maka oleh MDaemon di LP3IPG.NET
email dikategorikan sebagai remote recipient sehingga masuk
ke outbound mail stream.
- Akhirnya email dikirim lagi ke pau-mikro via smtp4.cbn.net.id
- [EMAIL PROTECTED] menggunakan
FROM: header untuk return-path (ketika reject)karena return-path
[EMAIL PROTECTED]
dipakai hanya sampai dengan email masuk ke common
mailbox [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Atau bagaimana Pak Syafril kira-kira penyebabnya. Di
DomainPOP kan ada routing rules dan switch-2 lainnya
yang bisa mengantisipasi hal seperti ini. Sayang kalau
salah setting tapi MDaemon yang di-salahkan ...
